For She is Seen
This short film aims to contribute to the breaking of the many taboos within female sexuality and advocates for individual self-expression and the female collective as a supportive community. Liberation is the key to de-stigmatizing taboo words, topics, and bodies. The intention is to empathize and connect women through their shared experiences with their bodies and sexualities.

'For She is Seen' is heavily inspired by the ‘The Feminist Art movement'. It takes inspiration from the driving forces of iconic female artists and their bold and brave approach to changing the male-dominated art public spheres and making a new narrative for women artists.

Research Question
From historical and contemporary contexts, how has feminism tried to address the devaluing and neglect of feminist agency in systemic patriarchal institutions? How can we dismantle the patriarchy?

It seems like it will always be an uphill battle, the patriarchy is deep rooted in society. As long as we keep the conversations open, continue to educate and inspire, hopefully each generation will become less influenced by the patriarchy and stigmas about women decrease.
